“Here is the Real Bio”
My name is Reza Taheri. I’ve battled with mental health. I’ve been rejected. I’ve felt alone. I’ve had my heart broken.
What most people don’t know about me is that I was raised by a single mother as an immigrant, an experience that shaped much of who I am today. From a young age, I felt an overwhelming need to fit in—to prove that I was worthy and enough.
Growing up without my father’s presence, I didn’t fully grasp for years how it affected my sense of worth, my relationships with men, and my identity. Without a guiding male figure, I struggled to navigate questions of validation and purpose.
This longing for validation turned me into a people pleaser, seeking approval from others while neglecting the most important validation—my own. The absence of healthy male role models deepened the challenges of self-discovery.
Being the “nice guy” brought short-term acceptance but often came at the cost of hiding my true self and suppressing my own needs. This pattern wasn’t just personal—it’s one I’ve worked through with many of my clients, both men and women.
As a recovering perfectionist, I carried the weight of impossible standards, often feeling paralyzed by the fear of not being good enough. It’s taken years of self-discovery to make peace with my imperfections and embrace them as a part of who I am.
I’ve also silently struggled with mental health—feeling helpless in the fog, hiding how I truly felt, and lacking the tools or support to navigate those moments. At times, seeing the other side felt impossible.
I’ve experienced burnout—the emptiness of being conventionally successful yet deeply unfulfilled. I wasn’t living; I was merely surviving.
Dysfunctional family dynamics and a constant feeling of powerlessness shaped much of my early life.
Through this journey of reinvention, I’ve learned not just how to navigate transformation, but how to help others uncover their true potential and live authentically. My story proves that no matter how deep the patterns run, change is always possible.
Today, I help clients break free from what holds them back, reconnect with their true selves, and create meaningful lives filled with purpose and fulfillment.
